Diane and I met over five years ago at a pivotal time in my life, and little did I know that that meeting would be the start of a friendship that I will always treasure. In a very short period of time, we formed a bond that grew rapidly and became a source of joy, wonderful memories, support, and loving kindness in my life.
Diane was a wonderful combination of compassion, kindness, intelligence, extensive life experience, commitment to causes she believed in, and loyalty to those she held dear. She was a woman of tremendous personal strength, depth of spirit, stubbornness, and lightening-in-a-bottle fierceness when necessary. She savored life like the glass of wine she often enjoyed with her loving husband, Joe, while sitting in her backyard, taking in nature‘s beauty.
Diane made the world a better place by her presence in it, and she will be missed and remembered with love always.
