Oh my gosh, I have never seen this page or any of these comments. I am so, so touched by the outpouring of love from everyone. Truly, these words are all so beautiful, thoughtful, warm, nostalgic, comforting and kind 🙏🏼 I come back to her obituary and to the comments on my post when I miss her and Taylor and need a little nudge of encouragement. The names and memories here are SUCH a gift❤️ I love hearing the different experiences and interactions with my mom, be it brief or not. It’s just how I hoped she was remembered. I am completely heartbroken to hear of Diane's passing. We were friends since we were teenagers and college roommates. Diane was a shining light and a joy to be with. I am so sorry we lost touch through the years. All my love and prayers go out to Linda, Steve, Diane's children and grandchildren and all who were blessed to know and love her. I am heartbroken at the loss of one so dear to me. Diane and I go way back to the early 70’s when she first moved to Delaware. We lived in the same development and attended Concord High School together. I have so many happy and funny memories with her. She could always make me laugh. Over the years, we never lost touch with each other and sustained our friendship. She was such a joy to be around. We took many trips together including Hawaii, Liverpool, London and Chicago. She was always a lot of fun and a great traveling companion. We both loved to travel and I had hoped to continue those trips well into our retirement years. I am so grateful that she was my friend and feel as if a light has gone out in my life. Rest in Peace my dear friend. I love you Diane.

Rest in Peace, Diars. <3 One of my oldest and dearest friends from my childhood. So sorry I could not attend the funeral today, but I was keeping you all in my prayers. Remembering meeting "halfway" (PMC) and looking for her coming across the field. Going to Downtown Chester and getting our picture taken in the Woolworth photo booth was fun.

I only met Diane one time at a Christmas party and found out she knew my brother from years ago. Truly a beautiful and wonderful person. So sorry to hear that she passed away.
