Diane E. Brumbaugh's Obituary
Diane Elaine Brumbaugh, age 69, of Millsboro, DE formerly of Telford, PA, passed away on July 8, 2007 after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. She was the daughter of the late Jonas and Margaret (Erb) Swartz of Tylersport, PA.
She was a 1955 graduate of Souderton High School and attended Sam Houston State Teachers College in Texas. During her career she was employed for 29 years as a telephone operator in Souderton PA and for 13 years as an office assistant for various doctors offices in Lansdale and Quakertown, PA before retiring in 2003. Diane and her husband then moved to Millsboro, DE to enjoy their retirement.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years Kenneth, sons William and his wife Lynne of Millsboro, DE and K. Paul of Troy, PA. She is survived by her sisters Patsy Ferketich and her husband Andrew, Janice Burns and her husband Joseph, and brothers Thomas Swartz and his wife Bunny, and Robin Swartz all of PA. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Ethan and Jessica as well as many nieces and nephews.
Services will be private. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be sent to: Delaware Hospice at 20167 Office Circle, Georgetown, DE 19947. Arrangements are being handled by Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Georgetown, DE.
