So sad to hear of Derrick's death. His inside matched the outside - open, generous, handsome, helpful - and whatta smile! He helped us begin to rent our family beach cottage 20 years ago and made the process not only possible but even pleasant! And we are still doing it today - from now on, in partial tribute to him for getting us started in the first place.

I was incredibly saddened to hear about the loss of Derrick. I was an agent in the rental department when he took over as manager. I know all of us women drove him nuts, but he always managed to keep his sense of humor. My deepest sympathy to Ann and the entire Lingo family.

We lived in Rehoboth Beach for over 7 years and one of the nicest people we knew was Derrick. He always was kind and had such a warm personality. We feel lucky to have known him. We are so sorry that he was on this earth such a short time but he contributed so much while he was here and we are all better for it. Rest in peace, Derrick. You are missed.
