I think I thought Derk would be with us forever.he loved life and I loved him and his family,he was the kindest and most gentle man I have ever known and he will be in my heart forever as a most cherished and dear friend.
Mr. Derk was a great neighbor and true friend. He had many stories to tell at any given time. He was like a grandfather to both of my children and made lots of memories with them. He will be truly missed by all that knew him.
