Denise "Zonzon" Martin's Obituary
Denise Martin, affectionately known as "Zonzon" to her friends and family, age 78 of Lewes, DE passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, December 14, 2019. She was born in Bourgoin-Jallieu, France in 1941, daughter of the late Charles and Henriette (Berrier) Martin.
Mrs. Martin made her career as a senior administrative assistant at UNESCO in Paris, France and more recently at the World Bank in Washington, DC. Zonzon loved the outdoors and was a keen observer of nature and of personalities.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Martin was preceded in death by her brothers: Robert and Daniel Martin. She is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Ferris Webster of Lewes, DE; her siblings: André Martin and Françoise Zuberi both of France; her niece, Simone Glynn of Reston, VA; and her nephews: Frédéric Martin of Quebec City, Canada and Etienne Martin of Columbus, OH.
All Services will be private.
