Denise Renee Jefferson's Obituary
Denise Renee Jefferson, age 62, of Bridgeville, DE, peacefully passed away on Friday, July 8, 2022, at her home with her son Thomas E. Jefferson, Jr., daughter-in-law Rachelle Jefferson, sister Beverly Webb, and best friend Stephanie Write at her side. Denise was the daughter of Betty Riggs, being born on March 4, 1960, in Baltimore, Maryland.
Denise was a faithful employee of New Process Fiber for 35 years and valued the friendship of her work family. Denise loved chasing sunsets in her Jeep with her two grandbabies; sitting on her deck with a glass of wine, listening to the birds with her two dogs, Taffy and Frankie; sitting poolside with friends and family laughing about the week that had passed; and most of all she was the proudest mother of her son, Thomas E. Jefferson, Jr.
Denise left behind her beloved son Thomas E. Jefferson, Jr., daughter-in-law Rachelle Jefferson, granddaughters Alyssa and Madison Jefferson, sister Beverly Webb, and brother Willliam Riggs, Jr.
A Celebration of Life ceremony will take place on Friday, July 29, 2022, between the hours of 3:30 to 7:30 p.m., and will take place at Willowbrook, 8275 Cannon Road Bridgeville, DE 19933.
In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate memorial contributions in Denise’s memory to the Delaware Humane Association (www.delawarehumane.org).
