Tom Marshall
I was devastated to hear of Denise's passing. What a loss, and the family has my deepest, and most sincere condolences. Denise was a friend first, and she also was an employee. A better friend, or employee would be hard to find. Denise really was a special person, caring devoted person who was a delight to be around. Our customers, and staff at the bank absolutely loved her. Always smiling, and willing to help. She also volunteered to help my wife in my wife's classroom for her 2nd and 3rd class doing the bulletin board. She loved doing it.
I have very fond memories of Denise, Dave, Anna, and Jennifer. I do have a story to share with everyone. In the history of Gunnison, or Gunnison County there has only been one armed robbery. Our bank was robbed. The robber came to my office armed with a knife, and told me to go to the teller counter, and have them put all the money in a single bag. It was Denise's window I went to. She got a little flustered, but turned and actually went to the back room to get a bag. She returned, and said to the Bandit, "Paper or Plastic"? She always bent over backward trying to please!! the picture is of Denise and her Co-Worker dressed for hollween. She was a GREAT witch, she could sound just like the movies..
