John Knowles
I met Deny very early in my career at Hyman in 1982. I was a brand new college graduate who had no idea how much I didn't know. He was building Airport Plaza in Crystal City. He took time from a very busy schedule to show me around the job and explain how they erected a very involved atrium in the lobby area. Most superintendents would not have found the time to be a tour guide for a new employee. He was an incredible gentlemen.
Over the years we worked together on various projects and he continued to demonstrate outstanding leadership and friendship. After he retired, a highlight of any major company event was seeing him when he joined us to celebrate a birthday, a life or other occasion.
A great man!
