Deborah S. Lyons Pringels' Obituary

Deborah S. (Lyons) Pringels, age 67 of Rehoboth Beach, DE, passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2019, at Harbor Health Care & Rehabilitation Center, in Lewes, DE. She was born on November 15, 1951 in Warwick, RI, daughter of the late Wallace E. and Dorothy (Wells) Lyons.
Ms. Pringels made a career as an executive secretary in multiple business settings over the years, including Beebe's human resource department. She loved shopping for her family and was a skilled baker, creating delicious desserts for family and friends. More than anything, Ms. Pringels cherished time spent with those she held dear, especially her grandchildren. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and friend who was loved by many and will be deeply missed by all who knew her, including the family dog Cammy.
In addition to her parents, Ms. Pringels was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Wallace Lyons. She is survived by her daughters: Kelly Dunn Gelof (Adam) of Rehoboth Beach, DE, Karyn Hudson of Milford, DE, and Meagan Sabella of Baltimore, MD; her grandchildren: Zack Gelof and Jake Gelof, both of Rehoboth Beach, DE, and Emma Hudson, Sarah Hudson, and Connor Hudson, all of Milford, DE; her sisters: Joan Lamont and Jane Payette (Rodney); and her many nieces and nephews.
A Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 19, 2019 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM. Friends will be invited to share memories of Ms. Pringles beginning at 3:30 PM, at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE. All other services will be private.
