to meg and barbara, my deepest deepest condolences. we grew up in the same area, and I too graduated 1970 from port chester high school. I do remember your family as you lived on king st, not too far from me. I worked with meg for a short time at allstate and remember her well. keep only good and humorous memories as they will keep you strong. I did lose contact with the family as we all went our separate ways. this only brings us closer . again my sympathies to the family.
What else can we say about Deborah? She was one of a kind....Full stop! When she began planning her 2019 "Angel Tour", I had no idea that one of her planned stops was my place. I couldn't have been happier to see her. We spent an entire week together in the pouring rain and couldn't have had more fun. I believe I was the last stop on her tour and I could tell she was tired. Nevertheless, she persisted. I was elated to spend the week with her and her beloved Angel and Cinnamon regardless of the rain. It's a memory I will hold dear forever in my heart.
I chose the pink candle because they remind me of how she loved pink flamingos. Rest in peace Deb.
Debbie left us way too soon, but she fought a good fight until the end. I can't even find words to describe the sadness of losing her, but my faith assures me we will be together again when all is made new. Such talent; such bravery; such commitment to all she held important and dear. I love you Debbie, with all my heart. May God hold you in the palm of his hand until we meet again.
