Deborah "Debbie" Ann Miller's Obituary
Deborah Ann Louise Miller, age 57 of Millsboro, DE passed away gracefully on Saturday, July 6, 2013 in the comfort of her home with the warmth of her loving family by her side. Mrs. Miller, affectionately known by her family and friends as “Debbie”, was born on January 5, 1956 in Lewes, DE, daughter of David Minton and the late Nellie Louise (Hathaway) Minton.
Debbie thoroughly enjoyed life and her love for life shined through every day. She was very talented and always found time to be creative, whether it was making new crafts or delicious food dishes. She enjoyed entertaining family and friends and everyone always looked forward to indulging in her awesome cooking. Debbie touched countless lives with a sweet smile and open arms always seeing a person’s value and being there for them no matter what.
Debbie had just a short 36 day battle with cancer before she was called home; she spent those days with grace and leaves this world with love beyond measure that can never be taken away. Everyone was truly blessed with Debbie’s Presence and she was truly blessed by theirs. She leaves behind an Afterglow, a blessing for all to cherish.
In addition to her father, Debbie is survived by her best friend and the love of her life, her husband of 27 years, Mark Leonard Miller; her son, Michael Allan Reynolds and his wife Holly of Lewes, DE; her two brothers, Steven Minton and David Minton Jr.; her sister, Tammy Minton-Taylor; her three grandchildren: Autumn Reynolds, Chase Reynolds, and Kaylee Lambert; and numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
A Celebration of Debbie’s Life will be held on Friday, July 12, 2013 at 11:00AM at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Hwy, Lewes, DE 19958, where friends may visit beginning at 10:00AM. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions may be made to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
