Dayle Mary Kaup's Obituary
Dayle Mary Kaup peacefully passed away in her home in Milton, Delaware on July 5, 2024.
Dayle was born in Queens, New York on November 15, 1946, to Robert and Marie Marx (Née O’Brien). Originally from Levittown, NY, Dayle’s family moved upstate when she was still a young girl and settled in Fayetteville, NY. Dayle graduated from Fayetteville-Manlius High School and began her career at New York Bell, where she met George Reeves Kaup. They fell in love and were married in 1969.
In 1980, Dayle and George made Bernardsville, NJ their home, where they raised their two sons. Over the next 55 years, they built a life filled with love and cherished memories while welcoming two grandchildren into the world.
Dayle is survived by her devoted husband George, her eldest son Michael Adam Kaup, her daughter-in-law Denea Daniel Kaup, and her beloved grandchildren, Haylie Muriel and Ethan Robert Kaup. She was predeceased by her younger son, Matthew Aaron Kaup.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday July 17, 2024 at 11:00 AM at St Jude the Apostle Catholic Church, 152 Tulip Drive, Lewes, DE where visitation will begin at 10:00 AM. Entombment will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, a cause close to Dayle’s heart.
Dayle will be remembered fondly for her devotion to family (Immediate and extended, as well as countless friends of her two sons.), her kindness towards others, and the love she shared with all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth and compassion that will be deeply missed.
