Mr. Truitt was such a huge part of my high school years, when I met his daughter Sheila and became immediate best friends with her. I have many fond memories of time spent at the farm, love and laughter at their home, and great patience from both David and Helen as they dealt with some of our antics. He always had a beautiful smile and a giant hug for me when ever our paths crossed. My condolences to the entire Truitt family, I love you all so very much.
