David Lorah
Julie.Dan and Keith In so sorry for the loss of such a wonderful man. He touched the lives of many probably not even realizing it. I met Dave in 2017 when I joined Free Masonry. Dave stepped up and volunteered to be my instructor helping me in my journey. I found that we had a lot in common. we hunted and fished together on occasion and I spent a lot of time visiting him at his tackle shop in Lewes. One day a kid around 10 years old waked into the shop. He was frustrated because he was not catching fish. Dave ask him what bait he was using. The kid had squid and Dave told him he needed blood worms. The young man had spent all the money he had on the wrong bait. Dave reached down and pulled up a box of blood worms. He said here use these. The kid said," well I don't have any money". Dave said they are free for you today. Dave even gave the kid a rental fishing pole and set it up for him. they went out and the kid caught fish. The smile that was on that kids face is unforgettable.. That is just one of many stories I can tell. Dave gave and never wanted anything in return. He was the best. I will miss you my friend. Rest easy...
