David H. Pierson, Jr.'s Obituary

David H. Pierson, Jr. age 50, of Milton, DE, formerly of South Jersey, passed away on Tuesday, August 6, 2019. He was born October 9, 1968 in Camden, NJ, son of David H. Pierson and Eileen (McMahon) Pierson of Millsboro, DE.
Mr. Pierson graduated from Cherry Hill High School East in Cherry Hill, NJ, class of 1989. He worked for Towar Hudson Builders in Rehoboth for the past 20 years. Mr. Pierson was an avid sports fan, some of his teams included the Dallas Cowboys (My Boys), Philadelphia Flyers, the Philadelphia Phillies and the Philadelphia 76ers. He loved fishing, boating, hunting, and golfing, as well as serving as a football and baseball coach and as an umpire in various softball leagues. Mr. Pierson was an excellent carpenter and prided himself in his ability to build anything he set his mind to. Often times you would see him walking his precious dogs, who were his best buddies.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Pierson is survived by his son, Jacob Pierson of Milton, DE; his daughter, Sarah Pierson of Sacramento, CA; his step son, Brandon Miller of Dagsboro, DE; his sisters: Dana Berget (Jason) of Vista, CA and Jennifer Hanwell (Walter) of Taneytown, MD; his nieces: Elizabeth Hanwell, Jessica Hanwell, and Ava Caras; his former spouse, Christina Caras of Sacramento, CA; his mother in law, Janice Caras of Lewes, DE; and sister in law, Jennifer Caras of Millsboro, DE.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Parsell Funeral Home & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE 19958, where friends may visit beginning at 9:00 AM. Burial will follow services at Henlopen Memorial Park, Milton, DE.
