David Nicholas Vucinich's Obituary
David Nicholas Vucinich, age 87, of Millsboro, DE passed away on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at Harbor Healthcare & Rehab. Center, in Lewes, DE. He was born on December 8, 1926 in San Francisco, CA, son of the late Obren and Marie (Angelich) Vucinich.
David was a Chevron Dealer in Los Angeles, CA for 37 years and President of the Los Angeles Airport Optimist Club for two terms, 1967 thru 1969. He enjoyed volunteering there and in Delaware with John Shank until his health declined.
He is survived by his wife Jennie (Seibert) Vucinich, two daughters: Donica Rust and her husband Bryan of Lewes, DE and Shana Nava of New Bern, NC; two grandsons: Lucas and Riley Rust both of Lewes, DE; two granddaughters, Jenna Helak and her husband Joseph and Rachel Mills both of New Bern, NC; and a great-grandson, John Helak of New Bern, NC.
The family wishes to thank all the staff at Harbor Healthcare & Rehab. Center in Lewes for their outstanding kind and compassionate care given to David during his final days.
A family gathering and burial will be private.
