David Lloyd Lewis' Obituary
David Lloyd Lewis, age 79, of Lewes, DE passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Saturday, July 21, 2018, at The Moorings at Lewes. He was born on November 8, 1938 in St Paul, MN, son of the late Lloyd and Ruth Lewis.
Mr. Lewis worked as a technician for Westinghouse Electric Corporation for many years. He had a love of model trains and clocks. Mr. Lewis was a handyman and a real "Mr. Fix It" but, will be especially remembered for his Christmas Cookie baking.
Mr. Lewis is survived by his wife, Ruby Lewis of Lewes, DE; his sons: John Lewis and his wife Joy of Winter Garden, FL, Mark Lewis and his wife Anna of Lewes, DE, and Robert Lewis and his wife Hannah of Telford, PA; and his grandchildren: Lily, Harrison, and George.
Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Lewes, 1001 Kings Hwy, Lewes, DE.
Friends may call on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE.
Burial will be held on Friday, July 27, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Crest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 2150 Mt. View Road, Marriottsville, MD.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Mr. Lewis' name to the First Baptist Church Building Fund, 1001 Kings Hwy, Lewes, DE 19958.
