David R. Geiger, age 68, of Lewes, DE loving husband of Gloria Geiger, son of Paul and Sarah Geiger, passed away on July 24, 2016, after a long illness. Dave was born and raised in Baltimore, MD. He was employed for many years by Read Obituary
Dave, you will be missed by many. We enjoyed the time we spent traveling with you and Gloria and Paul and Charlene. Your sense of humor livened up our conversations and brought us all together. We think of all the fun we had and know those times will always be with us in our hearts. We are glad we saw you in your last week with us. Now you are free from pain and maybe you and Charlene are chatting about us. Rest in peace my friend.
Dave you were the best, simply put. Your humor, laugh and kindness will always be remembered. You always took care of mom, first and foremost, and were extremely generous, kind and strict but fair when it came to me and then also, down the road, my wife, daughters, etc. My girls loved their grand pop very, very much. Many stories/memories will constantly be shared about you; almost all of which will be humorous. You never treated me as your step-son, but always as the son that you simply never had. For that I am eternally grateful to you.
As I said when we last spoke, I love you and I'm very grateful for the 24 yrs we shared together. It will never be forgotten.
As Ozzie Osbourne said, "I'll see you on the other side".

There used to be a bank in the Weis in Bel Air; I worked in the branch. Mr Dave visited weekly to change in some coin rolls and have a chat with me. As a friend of Justin's I saw Mr Dave & Ms Gloria often when we were in high school and college. It was lovely to get to chat with my friend's parents after the parties stopped. I know Mr Dave will be missed dearly. Love and peace during your time of grief.
