David Franklin Coupe's Obituary
David Franklin Coupe, age 87 of Millsboro, DE passed away at home on Tuesday, March 28, 2023. He was born on July 12, 1935, in Chester, PA, son of the late Dallas F. and Ruth E. (Greenwood) Coupe.
Mr. Coupe enjoyed a lengthy career working as a machine operator in the precious
metal manufacturing industry, retiring after many dedicated years. A hard worker, he was passionate about his work. Mr. Coupe was an avid outdoorsman, who at every opportunity presented, enjoyed boating, fishing, and crabbing. He loved riding his golf cart or scooter any chance he got, an activity that brought him great joy. Although he enjoyed his hobbies, nothing could compare to the love that he had for his friends and family and the time spent with them was what he cherished most. Mr. Coupe was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and brother. Loved by many, he will be deeply and genuinely missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him.
Mr. Coupe is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Susan Coupe of Millsboro, DE; his children: David Coupe, and Victoria Goode of Millsboro, DE; his grandchildren: Sabrina McKnight (Chris) of Newark, DE, and Anthony Goode (Tina) of Newark, DE; his great grandchildren: CJ, Adriona, and Anthony IV, all of Newark, DE; his siblings: Loretta Taylor of Lewis, DE, and Charles Coupe of Dover, DE.
