David Martin Bloodsworth Jr.'s Obituary
David Martin Bloodsworth Jr. age 49, of Lewes, DE passed away on Saturday, July 8, 2017, at Delaware Hospice Center, in Milford, DE. He was born Wednesday, September 6, 1967 in Salisbury, MD, son of the late David M. Bloodsworth, Sr. and Mary Louise Bloodsworth Scott of Lewes.
Mr. Bloodsworth graduated from Sussex Central High School, Class of 1985 and went on to attend Washington Lee University, School of Commerce where he graduated in 1989. He later received his MBA at Kellogg Graduate School of North Western University. Mr. Bloodsworth made his career as a consultant for various fortune 500 companies throughout the United States.
In his spare time, Mr. Bloodsworth enjoyed traveling world wide. He was a loving partner, son, brother, uncle, nephew and friend who will be dearly missed by everyone who knew him.
In addition to his mother, Mr. Bloodsworth is survived by his his life partner, Louis Joseph Raymo IV of Lewes, DE; his step father, Ralph L. Scott, Jr; his step brothers, Ralph Scott (Ida) of Seaford, DE and Jeff Scott (Jeanine) of Bridgeville, DE; his uncle Dr. John A Drews of Newport Beach, CA; several nieces and nephews; and his loving and loyal dog, Monty.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2017, at 11:00 AM at the Bethel United Methodist Church, 129 W. 4th Street, Lewes, DE, where friends may visit beginning at 10:00 AM. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Mr. Bloodsworth's name to Delaware Hospice Center, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963 or to the Delaware Technical Community College, 21179 College Dr, Georgetown, DE 19947-Attn: the David M. Bloodsworth, Sr. Teacher's Scholarship Fund.
