I met Darin many years ago as he was a best friend of my brother. I knew his family and most of his children. Fabulous man. Condolences to the family

I did absolutely everything with the Frye’s growing up. Their house was my second home, which might have gotten annoying to them at some points lol. Darin was like a second dad to me. Running us around to dance, friends houses, shopping, and more. He was so patient with all of us girls, and everything that we forced him to do for us lol. From making us breakfast every weekend, to cheering us on at every event. He had the biggest heart. What I remember the most is his contagious personality. I can vividly remember myself, and my entire family constantly laughing while being around him. It was never anything but smiles. Lauren and I would go out of our way to watch parents dance rehearsal just to laugh at our dads. Darin and my dad had this crazy idea to open up their own restaurant one day. Their idea was to make picnic food, and call it the “picnic table.” I’m sure Darin will follow through in heaven. He will always have a special place in my heart, and be the best dance dad around. I love you guys more than you could ever imagine.
