Daniel "Dan" J. Vrencur's Obituary
Daniel J. Vrencur, age 71, of Lewes, DE passed away on Friday, November 14, 2014 at his home.
He was born on May 22, 1943 in Joliet, IL to Joseph and Mary Vrencur. Daniel attended the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN and then received a Doctorate Degree in Chemistry from Purdue University in 1970. He worked for the DuPont company for over 30 years in the Wilmington area before retiring to Lewes, Delaware in 2005.
Daniel was an avid reader and was driven by a need to learn throughout his life. While retired, he pursued further education in the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute in Lewes. Daniel enjoyed fishing at Cape Henlopen State Park and in the Brandywine River, in Chester County, Pennsylvania. He spent a lot time on the Delaware beaches and also enjoyed traveling to the Caribbean.
Daniel is survived by his sister, Lois Wolff of Arizona, his sons, David and Michael Vrencur, and four loving grandchildren. Daniel will also be greatly missed by his long time very dear friend, Anne Vinson.
