While working at the Seahorse during a summer in the ‘80s, Dan introduced me to windsurfing. What fun! I remembered him as a kind and gentle person always willing to lend a hand. Just recently found out about his passing and send our deepest condolences to the Cochran family.

I will always remember Danny from a more innocent time growing up in Rehoboth Beach. I don't believe I ever saw him without a smile on his face. Though it had been years since I last saw him, he belongs to the group of kids who share fond memories of being raised in this small beach town of Rehoboth. My thoughts are with his family.

Prayers for the Cochran family.. Our Dads were good friends and we spent a lot of time together when we were young. Dan always had a smile. He will be missed.
Gonna miss Danny, and his good nature. We would run into each other on a regular basis and we would always talk about the wave conditions, even though it had been twenty years or more since we surfed.

I remember Pat Cahill and I waiting for old bus number 33 at the end of Virginia Avenue to take us to Rehoboth Junior High School. And almost every day Danny would come strolling by big smile on his face and even though he was older than us always nice to us. Very cool, very easy-going and very Unforgettable .

As classmates, we spent everyday together at some point, and all my memories are that of his beautiful smile. His spirit will be missed by so many. Be at peace my friend.
