Dale Stayton Boines' Obituary
Dale Stayton (Hitchens) Boines, age 75, of Rehoboth Beach, DE, passed away peacefully in her sleep with loved ones by her side, on Sunday, November 13, 2016, at Harbor Health Care & Rehabilitation Center, in Lewes, DE. She was born Wednesday, November 5, 1941 in Wilmington, DE, daughter of the late, Howard and Arlene (Wagner) Stayton.
Mrs. Boines graduated from Newark High School, Class of 1959. Dale retired from W.L. Gore & Associates after 17 years and relocated to Rehoboth with her husband where they started Boines Beach Homes together.
Mrs. Boines enjoyed boating and fishing in her spare time. She was happiest when she was spending time with the love of her life, Daniel, her children and grandchildren and her extended family.
Mrs. Boines is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Daniel T. Boines; her children: Katherine Hitchens Wilson and her husband, Donald of Lewes, DE and Jeffery Howard Hitchens and his wife, Sandy of Newark, DE; her grandchildren: Matthew and Maggie Wilson of Lewes, DE and Joshua, Alexandra and Zachary Hitchens of Newark, DE; her siblings: Sally Stayton Kadel of Newark, DE, Anne Stayton Lawson and her husband, Doug of Wilmington, DE and Andrew Dilworth Stayton and his wife, Lauren of Rehoboth Beach, DE; and her sister-in-law, Georgia Boines Pierson and her husband Dilworth of Greenville, DE.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Parsell Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, Lewes, DE 19958 where friends may call beginning at 10:00 AM.
Burial will follow the services at Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 N. Dupont Pkwy, New Castle, DE.
