Cynthia Lynn Millar's Obituary
Cynthia Lynn Millar, age 51, of Lewes, DE, passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2022. She was born in Union, NJ, daughter of Alice (Lacki) McFall and the late James McFall.
A New Jersey native, Ms. Millar grew up in Cranford, NJ. She was a 1989 graduate of Cranford High School. She attended Cittone Institute in Ramsey, NJ, where she studied medical coding and billing. In 2003, Cynthia left New Jersey for the peaceful easy lifestyle of southern Delaware, making her home in Lewes. She spent seventeen years working for Dr. Michael Cahoon, as a medical coder and biller. Most recently she worked with the Dental Group as an assistant and receptionist in Lewes. Cynthia made many friends over the years and her career was both challenging and very fulfilling.
Cynthia had an effervescence about her that drew people to her wherever she went. She brightened every room that she walked into and was the life of the party. She loved soaking up the sun, whether it was poolside or enjoying time on the beach. Above all, the time spent with those she held most dear was what she most cherished. Cynthia was a loving and devoted mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. Her infectious laugh and beautiful smile will be forever missed by those blessed to have known her.
Ms. Millar is survived by her mother, Alice McFall; her beloved son, Jon Millar; her sister, Denise Knoepfel, brother-in-law, Robert Knoepfel; her niece, Erica Knoepfel; Jon’s father, Rob Millar; her best friend, Toni Angelo, and her shih tzu, Valentina.
