Cruz Orlando Vidal's Obituary
Cruz Orlando Vidal, age 51 of Milford, DE passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2023, at Christiana Care Hospital in Newark, DE. He was born on July 17, 1971, in San Vicente, El Salvador, son of Cruz Antonio Vidal and Sonia Rodriguez.
At the time of his passing, Mr. Vidal was working at Dirt Works Inc., in Lewes, DE as a heavy equipment operator, a job that was both rewarding and challenging at times. He was a dedicated employee and he thoroughly enjoyed working.
Mr. Vidal had many interests and hobbies. He was an avid soccer player and could often be found watching soccer games or rooting for his favorite football team the LA Raiders. Mr. Vidal was also a car enthusiast and his passion for them was evidenced by the many hours spent tinkering with them. More than anything else, he treasured time spent with his family. As a loving and devoted son, father, uncle, and friend his presence will be dearly missed by those who were fortunate enough to know him.
In addition to his parents Mr. Vidal is survived by his son, Jonathan Vidal (Evelin Martinez); his daughter, Kimberly Dayanara Vidal (Wayne Davis) of Millsboro, DE; his niece, Priscilla McCole (Jon) of Harrington, DE and their daughters, Kiara and Kaisley; his nephews: Dennis Martinez of Chicago, IL, and Steve Martinez (Kara) of Ellendale, DE, and their children, Thea, Juelz, and Evie; and a host of other nieces, nephews, and cousins and his former spouse, Sandra G. Hernandez-Pittman of Millsboro, DE.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2023, at 3:00 PM at Parsell Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE , where viewing will begin at 2:00 PM.
