Craig Klinedinst's Obituary
Craig Scott Klinedinst, age 67, of Charlotte, NC, passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2024. Born in York, PA, he was the son of the late Juanita Klinedinst and Stewart R. Klinedinst.
Craig's passion was cooking, especially for others. Family and friends knew they were in for a culinary treat at holiday gatherings or impromptu get togethers if Craig was in the kitchen. Craig enjoyed a 30-year career in the food service industry, retiring as a food service director for nursing homes and retirement communities. Craig loved antiquing and collecting pottery from local artists. He had a keen eye and appreciation for vintage and antique art and furnishings.
Craig is survived by his loving wife, Deborah Klinedinst and his children, Brendon and Kelsey. Craig is also survived by his bothers-in-law Rodney Miller and Clair "Bud" Innerst; nieces Tammy Swonger (Bob), Stacie Barlow (Phil), Erica Smith (Colby) and nephew Duane Beck (Dawn) as well as many cousins, great nieces and nephews. In addition, Craig is survived by his father and mother-in-law Fred and Dorothea Salzberg, sister-in-law Beth Salzberg Johns and her husband Will, brothers-in-law Matthew Salzberg and Jeffrey Salzberg, his wife Samira and nephews Austin and Ethan Salzberg.
In addition to his parents, Craig was preceded in death by his 3 sisters, Nancy Seitz, Donna Miller and Sandra Innerst and niece Dana (Innerst) Brown.
A memorial service will be held on February 24, 2024 at 11:00AM at Parsell Funeral Home & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation - Delaware Valley Chapter, Harrisburg, PA.
