Cosmo DeVincenzo's Obituary
Cosmo DeVincenzo, age 69 of Lewes, DE, passed away on Monday, June 8, 2020 at his residence, in Lewes, DE. He was born on September 26, 1950 in Hoboken, NJ, son of the late Alexander and Jennie (Mosca)DeVincenzo.
Mr. DeVincenzo proudly served in the Army during the Vietnam War. He was actively involved in the VFW, Post 809 where he held leadership roles, including Commander prior to moving to Delaware. He was also a member of the VVA. Mr. DeVincenzo worked as a plant operator with the Bergen County Utilities Authority for over 20 years before retiring in 2015.
Mr. DeVincenzo enjoyed motorcycles, golf and attending sporting events, especially with the NY Yankees and NY Giants. When his children were younger, he coached sports and umpired for youth baseball and softball.
Mr. DeVincenzo is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years, Patricia (Keller) DeVincenzo of Lewes, DE; his son Alex of NJ; his daughters: Antoinette of NJ, Dorina of DE, and Debra of NJ; and his grandchildren: Matthew of DE, Andrew of NJ, Nicholas of NJ, Briana of DE, Morgan of NJ, and Regan of NJ.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made in Mr. DeVincenzo's name to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601
