I am so sorry to hear of Corrine's illness and passing. I tried to get a hold of her in January 2023 and received no response; now I know why.
I got to know Corrine through our mutual interest in genealogy. Even though she and I were not related, one of her family members married one of mine, who had been widowed, and I had no information about the family member who had died in 1763. She contacted me in 2011 and very kindly sent me a great deal of research.
In 2014, she sent me pictures of her visit to the church he was the reverend of, which he had built in 1763 and was in the process of being restored. In March 2023, I visited this church in Maryland thanks to Corrine's kindness in sharing her knowledge.

Steve and Melinda Robino were so glad to be in attendance at Corrine’s visitation. The music choices were just perfect. We visited Corrine in the Keys a couple times. We made sure the Key West was stopping point on any cruises we took. She took us through Hemingway house which was very interesting. More fun, were the out of the way places that had the absolute best raw oysters. She sure could chat and we knew she always kept tabs on family. Although our visits were few, we’d reconnect as if no time had passed. There is no doubt in our minds, that she lived her life—“her way.”
To Chip and family, we were saddened to read about Corrine passing. She grew up with my husband Ronnie Ashley the memories Ron shared with Uncle Stanley’s family meant A lot to Ron and his brothers especially Bobby and Gracie.
