Constance I. Stickley was called home to be with the Lord on Sunday May 10, 2009 at her residence in Bridgeville, DE. At her passing she was surrounded by her loving family. Connie was born in Alexandria, VA on June 7, 1944 daughter of the late Frank James Carr and Dora Lyles Carr being the youngest of 13 siblings. She had worked 36 years in the electrionics industry berfore retiring, She is survived by her husband of 30 years John R. Stickley; five children; Larry Corder and wife Sarah, Coleen Fox and husband Steve, John R. Stickley, Jr; Maureen Pullen and husband BJ; Laura Stickley and fiance Rodney Murray; 8 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. She is also survived by 3 brothers and 3 sisters and many extended family and friends.
A Life Celebration Service will be held on Thursday May 21, 2009 at 11:00 AM at the Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Hardesty Chapel, 202 Laws Street, Bridgeville, DE. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Connies name to Delaware Hospice Center, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963
