Colleen Cook's Obituary
Colleen Michelle Cook,"Cookie", age 58, of Lewes, DE, passed away after a long battle with cancer, at her home on Tuesday, August 8, 2017. She was born Saturday, January 31, 1959 in Baltimore, MD, daughter of John and Winifred Cook.
After meeting the love of her life, Karen Harris, in 1990, Colleen and Karen were married in Toronto, Canada on June 1, 2004. They shared many wonderful memories together. Colleen was known for her love of pets, but dogs in particular were her absolute joy in life. She also enjoyed going to classic car shows and visiting art galleries and museums. Colleen will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
A Celebration of Colleens Life will take place at her favorite spot on the beach at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Tunnell Cancer Center, 18947 John J Williams Hwy, Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971 or to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
Arrangements are being handled by Parsell Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, Lewes, DE.
Services will be private.
