Lt. Col. Frederick H. Calladine's Obituary
Lt. Col. Frederick H. Calladine, age 84, of Lewes, DE, passed away Saturday, May 16, 2009, at his residence with his loving family by his side. Lt. Col. Calladine was born October 23, 1924 in Philadelphia, PA, son of the late Frederick H. Calladine, Sr. and Florence (Sheard) Calladine.
He served with the U.S. Air Force for more than 27 years retiring as a Lt. Col. with the Defense Intelligence Agency. He was a 32nd degree Mason.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Edith (Marr) Calladine; a son, Guy D. Calladine and his wife Maggie of San Francisco, CA; three daughters, Christine Beal and her husband William of Alexandria, VA, Patricia McCallister and her husband James of Spartanburg, SC, and Kathryn Landauer and her husband Mark of Portland, OR; 11 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and a loving sister-in-law Catherine Gibson of Georgetown, DE.
A Memorial Service with full military honors will be held at Arlington National Cemetery, Ft. Myer Chapel, on Thursday, August 27, 2009, 11:00 AM; entombment will follow at the Columbarium. Arrangements are being handled by Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Lewes, DE.
