Clarence J. Elliott's Obituary
Clarence J. Elliott, age 92 of Lewes, DE, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 15, 2011 at his residence. He was born in Wilmington, DE on July 4, 1918, son of the late Thomas Elliott, Sr. and Katharine (Weiss) Elliott.
Mr. Elliott retired from DuPont, as a supervisor for the Blueprint and Drafting Division at Louviers. He was a member of the Masonic Scottish Rite, Granite Corinthian Lodge, 32 degree mason, 60 year member, former member of the NUR temple and a member of the local DAV and VFW.
He enjoyed spending time with his family, golfing, fishing and treasure hunting at the beach. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and brother and will be sorely missed by all that knew him.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Roberta (Bradshaw) Elliott, one daughter; Carol (Elliott) Jackson & Walter of Spotsylvania, VA, three grandchildren; Katherine (Jackson) Brown and her husband Dave of Seattle,WA, Elizabeth (Jackson) Jongbloedt and her husband Greg of Woodbury, MN and Walter Bryan Jackson, Jr. and his wife Baylee of Oklahoma City, OK, two great grandchildren; Annabelle Grace and Elliott Paul Jongbloedt of Woodbury, MN and one brother; Thomas Elliott of Tucson, AZ.
Funeral Services will be held at the Parsell Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes Friday, April 29, 2011 at 12:00 PM. The family will greet friends at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
Interment will follow at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 26669 Patriots Way, Millsboro, DE 19966 with Full Military Honors.
