Christopher Burton Walls' Obituary
Christopher Burton Walls, age 33, born on February 10, 1983 and raised in Lewes, Delaware passed away on Sunday, June 5, 2016 at his home on Gills Neck Road. Christopher had fought a long battle of drug addiction and lost his last fight to heroin. His family who loved him dearly surrounded him.
Christopher being the youngest of six children was always the free entertainment in the family. Back in the day you could find him watching and dancing to the movie/song “Footloose.” He was the master at charades. He loved his trucks. He loved his nieces and nephews. He loved his family. He loved to be on the water. During his down time you could find him on the beach or out on the boat fishing.
Christopher was a graduate of Cape Henlopen High School. For the last few years, he was an employee of Surfing Crab. During his leisure time, he also loved to work in his mother's garden and tend to her flowers and pond.
Christopher is survived by his parents, Irving and Linda Walls; his paternal grandmother, Frances Walls; his three sisters: Dana Orton, Marci Engel, and Kerri Layton; his two brothers: Irving Walls, IV and Marc Green; his three brothers-in-law, Rob Orton, Tommy Engel, and Troy Reese; his five nephews: Connor and Kyle Orton, Hunter Engel, RT and LJ Reese; his three nieces: Sydney Green, Madyson Engel and Taylor Johnson; his girlfriend, Michelle Gray and his two dogs, Dixie and Ryder. He will be truly missed by all!!
Christopher's family asks that if you have any family members who are fighting drug addiction, be supportive and do everything possible to help guide them to rehabilitation before it’s too late. This is a terrible disease that affects many families. Do not be ashamed!! Be supportive!!
A Celebration of Christopher's Life will be held on Friday, June 10, 2016, at 11:00 AM, at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE 19958, where friends may visit beginning at 10:00 AM. Interment will be private.
Flowers are welcomed. Memorial contributions in Christopher’s memory may also be made to Attack Addiction-Sussex County Chapter, 32652 Sand Dune Drive, Lewes, DE 19958.
