Chris was a work colleague. Since I live in the UK we did not meet face to face very often (most meetings were over the phone). I did not know Chris well, but on our infrequent face to face meetings he was always warm and welcoming; made me feel at home and part of the team.

Dear Pat and Family, I am greatly saddened to hear about Chris' passing. I first met Chris in Landover, MD in 1991 when we worked together at Digital Equipment Corporation. He was one of the kindest and caring men I have known - even on the golf course. I will cherish the years we played golf together at Bowie Golf Course. I am so sorry to hear this. Chris was the most thoughtful and patient person I have ever known. We worked together at HP for years and shared many laughs and stories. He was a great guy!

I'm so sorry for your loss. It does sound like you will have a tremendous amount of good memories to share that will help you get through this. I'd like to add one. I remember my wife and I spending the day on the beach with you and the Corey family and then going back to your house and making pizzas on the grill. It was a great time and demonstrated what welcoming individuals Pat and Chris have always been.
