No words can express our feelings toward the loss of Chet. So so many good times and memories over the years. So many conversations about your wife and family and travels. Chet you will forever be in our hearts and memories of you. Folks everyday ask for you. I know you're playing your music with the Angels 😇. You were a special awesome human being here in earth and earned your wings. Most of All thank you for being our friend and making so many kids and families smile. God bless you Chet.
Such a shock! Our hearts are broken and our condolenses go out to Dee and family. So many memories...some legal, some illegal ! Carpooling with Chet was a hoot: at High's in Damascus, we convinced the staff we were from a TV station to interview them and customers; Chet performed puppet shows out of my Hornet's back windows to drivers on 270 heading to work; experienced a white-out snowstorm in a phone booth while trying to contact Dee on way home from work!; eating 5-6 steaks at Cactus Willies in Westminster!; Chet ate "Bull Balls" on cattle drives out West; favorite dance was "The Chicken Dance"!; brought the house down at one of my magic shows completing a trick perfectly by stuttering (you had to be there); was instrumental in bringing attention to asbestos danger in public schools in Montgomery County; was our photographer at our sons' weddings......and so many more happy memories. May you Rest In Peace Chet, you're God's newest comedic Angel!! Our Love & Stalwart Friendship - Rog & Joan Lindsay
We're heartbroken to hear about your family's loss, and what the world has lost with Chet's passing.
Chet's generous and joyful spirit made being around him a true gift. We always looked forward to your visits to Monterey, and the conversations we had with Chet that cemented our friendship over all these years. Words can't possibly express the imprint he left on us, and how we're forever grateful for our time with him.
Denise, all our love and support to you and your whole family.

Our love and condolences to Denise and Family for the tragic loss of Chet. The shock and sadness we feel is overwhelming
We have known Chet for almost 50 years, Denise slightly longer.
Although we have kept in touch over the years with Denise and Chet we have been unable to meet as often as we would have liked due to the ddistance between us, whenever we did get together we made some wonderful memories which can never be erased.
Goodbye old friend R.I.P

Chet never met a stranger and was loved by all who knew him. He'll be sorely missed. Love to Denise and family. Joan Reader
Although Chet and I were not close, he was incredibly generous with his help in some of my OLLI classes in Lewes, and I thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated his musical talent freely given for various OLLI events. All his friends and colleagues in OLLI are heartbroken to know Chet is gone, because his light will definitely be missed.
My love and condolences to Denise and family on the sudden loss of this wonderful man. I first met Chet through OLLI’s Traditional Slow Jam. Our friendship grew over many Celtic and folk jams in private homes and at Irish Eyes in Milton, and as mutual fans of Outlander. I admired Chet for his eternal optimism, his willingness to help with just about anything, and that ever present smile. It will be impossible to not think of Chet when we play his often requested songs Skye Boat Song and Staten Island Hornpipe, Rest in peace, my friend.
Dear Denise and Family: it is difficult to find the words to express our deep sadness at the sudden loss of Chet. In the 50 + years we have known you both, whenever we saw you, Chet always had a smile and a sense of joy about him. When he would talk about music, his eyes would light up. His love for you and his family was obvious. Please know you are in our hearts and we are sending you love and the hope that your precious memories and the love of those around you will help you through this difficult journey. Love Louise and Bob
