Cheryl and I were at Duquesne Un. together and I remember her as always being upbeat; humor was part of her personality. My condolences go out to her daughter, Lydia. Cheryl will be remembered always. Mary Strobino Giorgi
I will miss you bunco babe!
Cheryl was my high school sweetheart and the first girl I really cared for. She could always make me laugh and I don’t think we ever had an argument. College made us drift apart but I will never forget the wonderful person that she was. Even after 60 years I still remember that wonderful smile. Rest in peace Cheryl
I went to Duquesne University with Cheryl also. When Cheryl decided to join a sorority, they made her carry around a stuffed animal everywhere she went. We would take the stuffed animal from her and hide it. Truthfully, we just didn’t want to loose her as a friend, and thankfully we didn’t.

There were long chunks of time when we didn’t connect, but whenever we did, there was that comfort of a long time friendship.
Cheryl was always upbeat, hysterically funny and the life of every gathering.
