Bonnett Saussol
My dear friend, Cheryl Mae.
You will always be "Cheryl Mae" to me. You have occupied a special place in my heart that started in airline school in Minneapolis. We moved on to National Airlines in NYC; and together we toured Japan, Hong Kong and Bangkok on very little money and had a wonderful time. Then, our lives went separate ways but you always had a special place in my heart.
I still have the Marimekko you generously gave me when you lived in Arizona. It's in my dressing room holding my earrings. It always reminds me of you and will remain very special to me.
This year I sent you a birthday card on time, which was not always the case (a weakness of mine). However, it was not on time for you. For that, I am very sorry. You suffered most of your life with that incessant kidney disease. I had so much empathy for you. I wish we had not lived on 2 different coasts. I could not be there but I knew Chuck and Jodi were loving and caring for you every day.
Chuck and Jodi, I love the picture of Cheryl you have used here. It is the Cheryl I will always remember.
May all the wonderful memories keep Cheryl's spirit alive in your hearts.
With my deepest sympathies,
Bonnett “Barney”
