Charlotte E. Whyte's Obituary
Beloved mother, loving grandmother, Charlotte "Bunny" E. Whyte of Henlopen Acres, Delaware died peacefully in her sleep on Monday, December 21, 2009. She was 88 years old.
She was pre-deceased by her husband of 56 years, Joseph L. Whyte. She is survived by two daughters, Barbara W. Brereton of Pasadena, California and Diane W. Warin of Arlington, Virginia; two sons, Lawrence J. Whyte of Trappe, Maryland and Robert E. Whyte of Charlotte, North Carolina; a son-in-law, Roger E. Warin, two daughter-in-laws, Carleen Heinrich and Nancy Whyte. She will be terribly missed by her 11 grandchildren, her 1 great grandson, many friends, including two special caregivers, Diane Niksich and Jackie Campunaso.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 26, 2009, 2:00 PM, at Parsell Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, Delaware. The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 1:30 PM. Interment will be at All Saints Cemetery, near Angola, Delaware.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to All Saints Episcopal Church, 18 Olive Street, Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971or Delaware S.P.C.A., Sussex Chapter, 22918 DuPont Blvd., Georgetown, DE 19947.
