Charlotte Irene Bazzano's Obituary
Charlotte Irene Bazzano, age 67 of Millsboro, DE, formerly of Chestertown, MD, passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2023, at Beebe Healthcare, in Lewes, DE. She was born in Atlanta, GA, daughter of the late Frank and Roseileen Alder Gillin.
Charlotte worked for Smiley’s Food Store in Chestertown, MD where she worked as a manager for twenty dedicated years before transitioning to a position as a dental assistant with her brother at Bayside Dental in Stevensville, MD, a position she held for about ten years. She had many hobbies and interests and was particularly talented at sewing. Charlotte enjoyed nature and taking walks, and loved the opportunities coastal living afforded her, especially her affinity for sea glass/sea shell hunting and collecting. Her love of cooking was evident by anyone who was fortunate enough to have a seat at her table and she made sure the gatherings were many. Charlotte was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend and will be deeply missed.
Charlotte is survived by her husband of 51 years, Oscar Daniel Bazzano of Lewes, DE; her son, Paul Bazzano (Casey) of Adamstown, MD; her daughter, Michelle Mason of Centreville, MD; her son-in-law Michael Mason of Centreville, MD; her grandchildren: Julia Mason, Gianna Bazzano, and Briella Bazzano; and her brothers: Bill Gillin of Henderson, MD and Wally Gillin (Joy) of Stevensville, MD.
A celebration of Charlotte's life will be on Saturday, March 4, 2023 from noon to 3pm at Irish Eyes in Lewes, DE. More details TBA.
