Charles Walker's Obituary
Charles J. Walker, age 73, of Milton, DE died Saturday, January 6, 2007, at Lewes Convalescent Center in Lewes, DE. Mr. Walker was born in Philadelphia, PA, son of the late Joseph Clarence Walker and Katherine Caroline (Schwartz) Walker. He served in the U.S. Navy. Mr Walker was a member of the Rehoboth Beach VFW and enjoyed playing shuffleboard.
He is survived by his wife Betty (Marcinowski) Walker; 2 sons: Robert Walker and Charles Walker, Jr; both of PA; a Step-Daughter-Deborah M. Zay & her husband Joseph A., Jr. of Gilbertsville, PA; and 2 step grandsons: Joseph A. Zay III and Derek M. Zay.
All services are private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Georgetown Cheer Center, 546 S. Bedford Street, Georgetown, DE 19947.
