Charles Marshall Plummer's Obituary
Charles Marshall Plummer, of Lewes, Delaware, began his life in eternity on March 9, 2026. Born on April 20, 1942, he was the beloved son of the late James and Violet Plummer.
Charles lived a life rooted in simple joys and deep connections. He loved the beach, fishing, and hunting, but nothing brought him more happiness than spending time with his grandchildren. Charles was full of life and will be remembered most for his humor. He had a gift for making others laugh and could brighten any room with his jokes and lively spirit. Charles' presence brought comfort and joy to those around him.
Charles is survived by his two children, Charles M. Plummer Jr. (Mary Anne Colling) and Monica E. Hayden; his brother, James (Gene ) Plummer; his sister, Bonnie Seabrease; eight grandchildren, Katherine, Madeline, Charles, Kameron, Kyleigh, Khloe, Karson, and Kaycee; and two great-grandchildren, Amelia and Henry. Many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
Charles will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
A Graveside service will be held Thrusday, April 9, 2026 at 2:00 pm at Bethel Methodist Cemetery, 600 Savannah Rd., Lewes, DE, 19958.
