Charles Paul Minifie's Obituary
CHARLES PAUL MINIFIE, age 76 of Rehoboth Beach, DE passed peacefully and in comfort on July 2, 2023, after a long battle with cancer. He was the beloved husband of Deborah Enyeart Minifie; devoted father and father-in-law of C. David and Kelly Minifie and Amy and Shawn Streator; grandfather to Elizabeth Minifie, C. William Minifie, Tyler Streator and Sarah Streator; sister of Karen Ruth Minifie; sister-in-law of Barbara Enyeart, and brother-in-law of Steve Enyeart and family.
After graduating from Brown University and earning a Masters’ Degree from University of Southern California, he held a long career in the life insurance industry in the Hartford, CT region. A life-long learner, Paul loved reading all topics, especially history, science, and science fiction. Recently celebrating 55 years of marriage, he and Debbie visited dozens of American and Canadian National Parks, and all 50 state capitals. He gave back to his community by donating blood his entire adult life and in more recent years providing transportation for seniors with poor eyesight, poor mobility, and other health issues.
We will miss his quiet comments that brought insight and wisdom, his dry sense of humor, and most of all, his self-satisfied chuckle!
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday July 11, 2023, at 11 AM at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, Delaware where visitation will begin at 10:00 AM.
