Charles "Charlie" Lee Baker's Obituary
Charles (Charlie) L. Baker, age 85, of Lewes, DE went home to be with loved ones and the Lord on Tuesday, November 11, 2014. Charlie was born November 30, 1928 in Millsboro, DE to Lee and Mary Elizabeth Baker.
Charlie served in the US Coast Guard before coming home to work in construction at D F Quillen and Sons for over 40 years. He also was a private contractor and earned the reputation as a Master Builder. After retiring, he and his wife opened a produce business on Route 24, where they made many new friends from different states.
In addition to his parents, Charlie was preceded in death by his three sisters and four brothers. He is survived by his wife, Joan Marsh Baker and a son Mark (Laurie); a sister, Doris Revel, along with several loving and caring nieces and nephews and many faithful friends.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, November 17, 2014 at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE, where friends may call beginning at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow the services at Conley's Chapel Cemetery.
