Carol , Sorry for your loss of Charles.I received a message from Russ Davis today .You may not remember me ,I am Patricia Doty Rawlings. A first cousin to Charles ,My Mother was Ida.,Irene's sister. .As kids we spent a lot of Summer weekends swimming in the creek near Sparrows Point, Md.I was the oldest of 5 kids.me and 4 brothers .I have lost 2 of them in recent years. And I lost my Husband Karl 3 years ago in December 2017. We were married 51 years .Treasure your memories, only time lightens your grief.I found that my children have been a blessing to me always, but more so now .Rest in peace Charles and May Perpetual LIght Shine Upon Him . William and I plus Bob would join Charles every Saturday morning for golf at Sun City
in Bluffton. He always greeted me with a smile and a hug and oh the stories he would tell in a round of golf! He was a good friend to William and me--loving, convivial, competitive,
quick to laugh, kind. Carol, when we drive by the back of your house in our golf cart on the Okatie course we still beep the horn with tears in our eyes as we realize how much we miss you guys in Sun City.
