Charles Louis Justice Sr.'s Obituary
Charles Louis Justice, Sr., age 88 of Rehoboth Beach, DE, passed away on Tuesday, October 17, 2023. He was born on August 23, 1935, in Baltimore, MD, son of the late William II and Marie (Goodwin) Justice.
Mr. Justice spent the majority of his life in the Baltimore area, owning and operating Glorie’s Place Restaurant in Essex, MD, for over 30 years. In his younger days, while living in Essex, he was involved in local politics. Retiring to Rehoboth Beach in 1997, Mr. Justice remained active as a member of the Elks Lodge, the VFW, and the American Legion. A Baltimore boy at heart, his loyalty to the Orioles and Ravens never wavered; he remained an avid fan throughout his life. Above all, Mr. Justice treasured the time spent with his loved ones. He was a caring and devoted father, grandfather, and friend. Loved by many, he will be forever missed.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Justice was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Gloria Marie Justice, in 2019; his brother, William E. Justice III; and his stepdaughter, Janice Dick. He is survived by his children: Charles Louis Justice, Jr., Teresa VanKirk, and Nancy Justice; his stepchildren: James Curtis, Donna Moore, and Mona Bream; nine grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and his sister, Rosemarie Hastings.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 13, 2023, at 11:00 AM, at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE, where friends may visit beginning at 10:00 AM.
