Charles N. Harvey Jr., 73, of Lewes, DE passed away on June 17th, at Penn University Hospital, due to the return of a lymphoma that he had beaten the previous year. Born in Leeds, England on February 18, 1951, he was the only son Read Obituary
I did not know Mr. Harvey, but just happen to read of his passing in the Cape Gazzette. I to, grew up in Union City and attended Emerson High School, class of '65. I just wanted to pass on my condolences to another Emerson "Bulldog". R.I.P. Mr. Harvey.

My memories of Charlie always brings a big smile to my face. I’ve always thought of him as a gentle giant-big in stature and big in love and kindness. I often referred to him as Mr Yesterday as he wanted things done quickly! The vacations shared in Puerta Vallarta and Cape Cod will always be a constant reminder of his infectious spirit. His love of family and friends is what gave him his enjoyment in life. I will certainly miss his big smile but his loving memory will be forever sealed in my heart ❤️.
I don’t know how to express all that I myself owe to Charlie. He was there when my family needed him. Patty and Charlie are more like family than friends. We have laughed and cried together many times. Always just a phone call away. He will always hold a special place in my heart.
I met Charles through my niece, Carolyn Wallace Butler. They enjoyed Western New England together, and became lifetime friends!
Although my visits with Charles and Pat were limited, they ALWAYS, created lasting memories and a whole lot of fun!
That was just who Charles was. He checked all of the boxes. Just a great guy!
You will be missed Charles, may God grant you his lasting grace and open up his mansion with many rooms for you!
