Charles "Chuck" Lenfest Goodrich, age 83, of Henlopen Acres, DE, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at the Delaware Hospice Center in Milford, DE. He was born on November 10, 1930 in Charlestown, West Virginia, son of Read Obituary
Chuck and my dad were friends from the Capitol Furniture Days. I came across a card tonight, that he sent several years ago and wanted to confirm his address to send a little hello. I was so sad to read he passed away, and wanted to send my sincerest condolences, even though late...still heartfelt. Blessings to you and your family.
Chuck, or Charlie, as we also knew him, was a very dear friend to my mother and me for many many years. Their friendship spanned at least 40 years and I know my mother cherished it. After she died, Charlie stayed in touch with me, but I missed talking with him last year. I will forever remember his loving kindness, generosity, gentleness, wisdom, humor and caring that he showed to a friend's daughter. He was definitely one of a kind, and we were very blessed to know him. My condolences to all of the family.
Chuck will be so missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.
I am sorry for the loss of Chuck. What a pleasant, happy person...always sharing a smile! He will be missed by many.
Charley was a ray of sunshine and always a joy to see and talk with. He'll leave a giant hole in the recovery community. We will miss him.
