I was covering for Mr. Smith on a Saturday at the Amoco station while he and Mrs. Smith went see his brother in Maryland. All I had to do was pump gas and change oil and filter and top off all fluids on one car already on the lift I stopped by on Monday to see how I did first words he said was thanks for changing that oil for me good thing i came in early. I totally got distracted pumping gas and forgot to do the oil change. I remember that to this day to complete the job.
So sorry to hear of Mr. Smith's passing. We bought several "cream puffs" as he called them over the years, and they were always great cars. It was always a pleasure to just drop by and say hello during our time in Lewes. May his family and friends take comfort in the fact that he touched so many lives through his military service and with his multiple businesses in Lewes. The Weaver family.
May your family be comforted by God's love and wonderful memories. Blessings, George and Kathy Pepper
So sorry to hear of "Smitty's" passing. Such a nice man that will be missed by so many. Lynn and I rented an apartment from the Smiths when we were married in 1980. Lots of fun times. My sympathies and condolences to the family and many friends.
Our family has shared many holidays, weddings, birthdays, births & many other joyous occasions with the Smith family over the past 40+ years. While our hearts are sad, we are blessed to have so many wonderful memories of times spent with Pop-Pop Smith & his beautiful family! Sending hugs & prayers to all of you for your loss - how blessed you all were to have shared your life with him! Love you all.

Uncle Charles was one of a kind. He always made everyone feel welcomed when they came to his home. Time spent in Lewes, Delaware, created the happiest memories of my childhood. He will be sorely missed by all those who loved him.
I am very sad to hear of the passing of Charles. He certainly was a leader in the community and so very valued in many ways. He leaves a beautiful, close family and will surely be missed. I have many fond memories of my conversations with him. He was always so glad to see me and happy to talk. He was such a family man and a very hard working man. My hope is that his family will find peace through their happy memories. My thoughts and prayers are with each of you. God Bless.
